Hi guys,
I want to purchase a strut tower brace for my 84 trans-am and my 84 z-28, however all that I see listed anymore are for tpi or tbi cars and both of mine are carbed.

TBI and carb use the same STB. Edelbrock makes a 3 point that goes to the firewall. I have it and have nothing but good things to say about it. There is somebody on teh board that was making a 4 point that went to the radiator but it looked like it used smaller dia. tube. Back to your question, TBI = carb because they use the same exact air cleaner. Only problem is getting the dual snorkel to fit. The passengers side snorkel has to be crazy modified to get around the AIR stuff and around the STB.

I have a moroso 14 inch low profile air cleaner instead of stock filter setup, will that change the math on the strut tower brace?
