Brake Ducts anyone?

Has anyone installed front brake cooling ducts on a Trans Am?

I'm in the promise of that right now, among many other things. I am having back problem right now, but I have one side about half way done.

I tried to rig something up quick with 3 inch aluminum flex hose. I ended up having to run it between the sway bar and the frame because anywhere else it would hang too low or would be in the way of the tire at full steering lock. It ended up when I put load on the suspension, it just crushed the hose to about 1 inch so it was pretty worthless. I ended up removing them the next day.

I ran some from the front airdam to the calipers using 3in vent hose from a dash(I think it was 3in?) anyway, I snaked it around with the car on ramps to keep a load. I had just a slight rub from one tire, and the hoses lasted about 4 months. I really did feel a difference on the autoX course. It really was just trial and error. Get a lot of hose and run different routes. Good luck and sorry I am long.
