Damn! Shoulda hit the cat.....
....then I wouldn't have slammed into the curb. I took a nice chunk out of my front right rim,and knocked the alignment all to hell. The wheel I hit is set back a bit farther than normal now(closer to the rear part of fender edge). So here's my tech question- Did I just knock the caster adjustment off,or is it more likely that I bent something? Which is easier to do?In other words, which of the above is more likely to happen in this scenario- I hit the curb at about a 45* angle @ 35-40mph.A chunk of rim is gone, but suprisingly, the tire held up. So hopefully, nothing got too beat up. I just orderd a new rim and I am ordering two new tires tomorrow. So as soon as they come in,I'm taking my car to get inspected and see if it can be aligned properly.

I know a guy who did pretty much the same thing in his 93 firebird. It was about $600 in damage. Now I can pretty much tell you your rim is junk, which you already know. As far as other damage it could just be needing adjustment or your tie rods and other linkage could be screwed. I'd have to look at it to be able to tell. Good Luck man.

I slid in some ice once and hit a curb and only about 30 deg.... and mine bent...I guess it really just depends... Good luck. I got a used aarm for $20. Not a biggy... and got me around to cleaning up the front suspension.
