E brake??? Help Quickly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am trying to get my e brake out of the way to change my brake pads. My helms manual says remove tension for the e brake at the equalizer. WHere is the equalizer?? I have no idea what it is and there are no pictures in my book. Its an 87 with rear disc brakes.

It's in the driveshaft tunnel right above the driveshaft itself. It's just a bar with a screw that you turn to relieve tension.
