The clunk could be your brake pads moving around in the caliper. Just tighten down the locating ear on the pad.

The squeaking in the back might be the rubber sleeves on the parking brake cable rubbing on the rear control arms.

front brakes were just replaced and the front calipers were rebuilt I didi check the parking brake cables and they appear to be ok thanks for the input though the squeak sounds as though the hatch is rubbing against the body almost as if rubber squeaking on metal the clunk sounds hollow today i'm getting new front control arms with poly(urethan/graphite) bushings hopefully that will take care of the clunk noise if not next stop is the front strut bearings and mounts it started after i replaced the struts and mounts once before but then nailed a large michigan pot hole oh well trial and error on the clunk. any recommended alignment settings for aggressive street road racing? also anybody know of a good place to by a cheap 6 speed manual trans from?
