GM and stock poly endlinks

I ordered new endlinks from GM (#10221779). Much to my surprise they're white in color and seem to be a poly of some sort. Comments?

My 23mm rear bar came with factory poly end link bushings, however they were blue. They looked black until I cut the bolt to get them apart (they were a little rusty), then I noticed the blue shavings.
