does anybody know if they make a severe duty strut bearing? I live in the land of POT HOLES and ended up blasting a brand new set of moog strut bearings. using KYB struts and shocks energy suspension poly graphite control arm bushings and poly urethane sway bar bushings and links any help would be grateful.

Strut BEARINGS?

 

upper strut mount/bearing. I have a hollow clunking sound comming from the right front upper strut area when driving. the front end doesn't sagg or lean and the strut is the next possible suspect after i replace the upper mount

 

Mine does that too, so I'd be interested to get an answer on this one .

 

i ended up replacing the upper strut mount and it seemed to take care of the hollow clunking sound comming from the right upper front area the only problem is that i still used the same brand of upper strut mount manufactured by dorman parts store said cheaper to buy than moog we'll see how long this one lasts before i blast another one it appeared that the upper mount seperated fromt he mount caseing when i hit that pot hole causing the hollow clunk sound. maybe these stock mounts can not handle the added stiffness of the KYB struts?
