Need advice.

As in my other posts, I just rebuilt me front end with a PST kit. I replaced rod ends, bushings, struts, ball joints and the idler arm. I didnt move or replace the pitman arm or centerlink. After I had it aligned the wheel would only turn 1 1/8th turns to the left, but over 1 1/2 to the right. If I center the pitman arm before I tore the front end apart, and never movd it, then it should be the shops fault for not making sure they had it centered before they started the alignment right? They say its my fault, but if I never moved the pitman arm off center why should I have to ceneter it again. I need as much info. as possible so when I go back there tomoroow I have a solid argument so they'll fix it. Thanks for any info./opinions you can give.
