do you have to cut the carpet to put shocks in?
I know on the rear shocks the upper mounting nut is underneath the carpet behind the back seat. How do you access this?

Fold down your back seat,
The hatch area carpet can be pulled right up.
After you pull it up, there will be a coulple foam triangle piecies covering the shock bolts... Pull em off. They are glued down(in most cases, if you have the original shocks...)
Easy stuff! I did it, dont cut it!
