I just swapped my rear end in the ol' Z. I replaced everything back there. I have yet to do the brakes thus the tires are still off and the car is still on jackstands, under the unibody. I supported the rear axle with jack under the pumpkin, should I move the jackstands to the axle to compress the shocks a little? Will it hurt them to be extended like they are? PLease advise.
