Impala SS rims

Impala SS rims
I have a chance to get brand new 17 inch rims from an Impala SS and was wondering if anybody knew the width of these rims and if they would fit on my 1988 Formula 350? Thanks for any help.

94-96 Impala SS wheel size is 17x8.5, with back spacing of 5 1/16 inches. The bolt pattern is different on an Impala. Impala = 5x5, F-body=5x4.75, so they will not fit a F-body as is. Someone on this message board had new bolt holes drilled into Impala wheels so they would fit on a F-body, but I don't remember the details.

That backspacing is also too much, at least for the front. However, if you really like the rims, cost no object, you could get custom spacers made to change the backspacing as well as the bolt circle.
