if you still have stock struts i would recommend it. I did when i installed my edelbrock springs and it made for a much better ride. get the KYB GR-2 struts there reasably priced but there much bettter than stock and they will help out in the stibility dept. one more thing you might want to be aware of is if you install lowering springs you will have more whell hop unless you either get a relocation bracket or get aftermarket LCA's .

Wheel hop is when you floor it and the rear loses and gains traction very quickly. This causes the wheels to bounce up and down and therefore "hop" LCA's are lower control arms. There are two of them, one on either side of the car. The connect the axle to the rear sub frame. This is where the axle pivits agaist the sub frame. Generally they are weak, and after years of abuse the rubber bushings wear out. This causes slop in the system and contributes to wheel hop.

Confused? Buy a chilton's, they have pics and are a good reference.

You will get the hang of it, keep reading!
