Q's on edelcrock lowereing springs I just got

I just bought edelbrock lowering springs. The rear springs have the correct part number of 5231 for my 85 Camaro F-Body. But the more beefy front springs have a part number 5230 on them that corresponds to an 78-88 A/G Body. I realize that sometimes parts can have multiple applications, but has anyone else have experience with these springs?

Did you look carefully at the part numbers before installation?

I know a few people on this board have the edelbrock springs so maybe you can help me out. I know it doesn't sound good or make sense but I've seen more stupid things.

I just got off the phone with edelbrock people. The front spring numbers are correct (74-5230). The front spring has a multiple usage or at least it is correct.

I didn't suspect too many people compare the parts in the box to what the part number is on the box.
