Adjustable Panhard Rod - a must ?

Is it a must to have an adjustable panhard rod when lowering the car ? Im lowering 1.5"
Anything else but new shocks and an alignment that I need to do..?

Thanks for any info!

The panhard rod bar will allow you to center the rear end in the car. I have a 84 and the right rear sits in about 3/8 of an inch more than it should. This is important esp since you are lowering the car. You might have clearance problems if one side is not centered. You will have a more rigid connection(less slop side-to-side) esp if you get the adj. spherical rod ends and it will be easier to adjust. If you get the spherical on one end and poly on the other, you might have to remove bolt on one side to adjust. If you have the dual spherical you can just twist the bar and then tighten lock nuts.
Later,
Craig

Alright, thanks a lot for the info - I'll order me an adjustable panhard rod right away as my lowering springs should be in shortly!!

Thanks again.
