HELP deciding on suspension parts

Please help me decide on a set of shocks for my car. I will be replacing springs with eibach pro-kit springs, also ordering a set of energy suspension hyper flex bushing kit. What I need help with is the shocks are kyb's as bad as everyone knocks them. Does anyone know anything about the edelbrock ias shocks or have any other suggestions. As I don't feel that I have the money for Koni's or Billsteins and also be able to afford the springs and bushings

I have KYB gas-a-just shocks in the back w/ stock springs, and I'm putting Global West S-9 linear springs in the front with KYB GR2 struts. I don't think the KYB struts will hold up to those springs for too long. I'm planning on driving them for a year then getting either Koni's or Bilsteins. My KYB rear shocks keep things under control alright back there, and they're a cheap decent shock, but if you don't feel like working on the car do it right the first time and get Koni or Bilstein. You might want to look at Global West or Guldstrand Motorsports for a set of linear springs instead of those Eibach progressive springs. Every suspension tech I talk to recommends linear springs because they're more consistent over the same bumps, and they don't have to be loaded to have an adequate spring rate. You can suposedly lower further with a linear spring too, but it will be a little more harsh than a lowered progressive spring.

What is the difference of linear and progressive springs other than that I know that linear means steady or constant and progressive is varying.

By the way does anyone know what pieces come in the hyperflex kit. And whether or not they will squeak, I've heard people complain that they do.

Oh and I don't really care to lower the car to much as it is already low enough as it is or the stock springs are just sagging.

I've got the kyb's in the back only, and I'm cutting 1.84 60 foot times on street tires. I think they are fine. If you want something stiffer, I think kyb makes some adjustable ones.
