brake problem

I have a 1990 camaro 3.1L V6. I have drum brakes in the rear. the rear right caliper was replced recently. I noticed that the brakes are mis aligning (when you press the brakes they dont go back to the correct position. how can I fix this problem. are the brakes adjusted too tight or too loose?

also are the calipers the same for all of the 82-92 f-bodies

Did you get a spring kit and change all the springs to new ones. The old ones may be wore out. It's pretty cheap and may solve your problem.

If you are stepping on the brake with the drum off they will not go back. The brakes are moving out too far without a drum on it. Just push them back together and straighten them up, put the drum back on and adjust the starwheel until a very slight drag or scrape is felt when you turn the drum.
(((If this is not a new wheel cylinder and you have been pushing the brake with no drum on it they might start leaking!!!!!!!!)))))

It's on the adjusting screw inside the rear brake drums... looks like a star.
