how do i know if these are shot?
Hey guys, I'm gonna be rebuilding my front end soon and I just wanted to know if I should replace my strut mounts since I'm gonna be replacing my struts. How do I know if its time to replace the mounts? I have pictures...

There was a buildup of dust in there, I'm not sure if its just crap that got in there over the years or if its the remains of the mounts themselves. Should I be worried?
And should I replace my wheel bearings? They aren't making any noise but while I'm in that deep you think it's a good idea to switch em? What should I look for when checking them out?
I read the stickies too. Sorry if these are dumb questions but I'm still learning lol.

I think being 20 years old is a good reason to replace anything on our cars lol. It certainly couldn't hurt anything.

What happened to the protective caps??? With all that rust, I can't see the bearing in the support cap still functioning. Opinion: REPLACE THEM and everything else....

Look a them from under the wheelwell, with the front jacked up. The first time I had the front in the air, I could see the bushings being pulled down thru the cutout. But it looked ok from the top when the wheels were on the ground, swapped them out and immediately felt a difference.
