Quick question guys.

Do I really need the Parking Brake on my '88 GTA. It has all wheel disk brakes with the crappy 1 piston (did I mention crappy) calipers. Besides for "Parking", do I really need it?
I'd like to find out ASAP, I plan on yankin' the aforemention "thing" tomorrow.
Thanks a lot, Rick

well, if your state doesn't have any safety inspections i don't see y would need them. they are nice to have if you park on a hill but if it is in gear it isn't goin far.

the parking brake adjusts the calipers to compensate for wear, so you do need it. If you are friendly with a parts store guy, you may be able to put front calipers from a GM application on the rear.
