Who (besides Edelbrock) makes a strut tower brace for TBI/Carb?

I'm wondering about strut tower braces other than Edelbrock for my TBI. The only one I've seen is theirs. Anybody know where I can get a different one? Two point or three point. No matter.

Oh yeah, while I'm here, what is the deal with the responces to posts? About 20 of mine are not showing up! Also, what is the deal with posts not showing up in general. One thread says it has 8 responces and only 2 show up. Time for ThirdGen.Org to upgrade or something?

Somebody was making a 4 point design that went to the front radiator but I don't see that as being a good thing. I like the firewall point design with a wonder bar used to hold the front frame tight. The edelbrock product is great, super heavy duty and I think it was money well spent. Hey, has anybody else noticed this but we all call our engines by the ci and not L. So glad us american's haven't converted to metric like the Ford guys

Edelbrock does look like the one I'll have to buy. I just like to save a buck when I compare brands.

Is Spohn putting one together?

Hotchkis makes a pretty darn good strut tower brace except that it is only a two point. This is what I have and I wish I had Edelbrock's version instead.

i bought mine at CincySpeed Warehouse here in cincinnati for about $90.it's a two point STB.if you have any kind of TBI spacer this STB will not clear your air cleaner.

91,

Do you see any reason why, this brace wouldn't fit a dual snorkel set-up?

no it will not work on a duel snorkle air cleaner.if you look at the picture the pass. side is alittle lower than the dr5iver side.with that said you mite be abill to fab up some sort of block to get you some more clearance.ya know? put a block of metal in between the strut tower and the STB to rise the STB up a 1/2 inche or so to give you the clearence you mite need.OR it may bolt right up.
