82 T/A Suspension Rebuild Questions
Hey guys,
I am in the process of restoring my 82 T/A that I bought two years ago:

The car had been sitting for 11 years prior to me owning it and I am considering a complete front suspension rebuild. The car only has 59,000 miles on it, so I'm assuming the suspension is original. I have never tackled anything like this before. What parts do you recommend I change? Below is a list I came up with - am I missing anything, or is there anything listed that I don't need?
Upper Ball Joints
Lower Ball Joints
Upper Control Arm Bushings
Lower Control Arm Bushings
Outer Tie Rod Ends
Inner Tie Rod Ends
Stabilizer Links
Sway Bar Bushings
Control Arm Bumpers
Tie Rod Adjusters
Idler Arm
Thanks,
Joe

Re: 82 T/A Suspension Rebuild Questions
I'm no great expert, but that looks pretty good.
A few things:
You probably want to add a center link to the list.
You should consider if you want to go to polyurethane for the bushings. Some folks, like me, love the stuff, some don't.
While you are in there, you probably should think about the struts. There are many solutions there, and they range a lot in price. Nose around this forum. Most all of the possibilities have been discussed... several times ;-)
BTW- no upper control arms... struts
Enjoy
