Question about LCA's and PHR...

I've read some discussion about aftermarket lca's and phr's (stock) are better left alone, rather than boxing them or replacing them. This is due to them being able to flex, or something to that effect. I was under the impression that boxed or tubular ones are much better, performance and handling wise... So, someone set me straight on this subject, please. I would like to replace my stock ones with tubulars... Thanks.

I have aftermarket LCA's (lakewood i think) they eliminated the annoying wheel hop that i used to have. They still enable the suspenstion to flex, just less and therefore no hop. I also just installed a Spohn panhard bar. The rear feels a lot more connected to the rest of the car. When the back end gets loose, its a lot easier to get it back inline and keep it there. The LCA's were a vast improvement, get the panhard bar if you want.. it won't hurt. I see only pro's to adding these parts, i don't know why they would cause problems.

the panhard bar is great...it eliminates the feeling that your *** is gonna come out from under you when going around a corner. but i have the edelbrock one and i think i want one a little beefier...the edelbrock was about $100, and so is the spohn one...you can also get the spohn lca's for $85 i think...not bad deals on his stuff

Thanks, guys - I appreciate the inputs... Yep, Spohn is what I had in mind - looks like a couple more weeks and I can spend the money on 'em...
