Wheel & Tires

What is the widest wheel/tire combo I can put on the back for a drag car? I know 15 x 8.5 Centerlines with 26 x 10.5 Mickeys will fit, but how about 15 x 10 Centerlines with 26 x 11.5 Mickeys?

you can fit up to 17 by 11 rims in your third gen but for that you need an adjustable pan hard bar...You can run 17 by 10's I think all the way around I am not sure but I can check my wheel tire book if you want and tell you...when you run these super wide rims you need to change the backspacing as well...I can give all the 17 inch measurements if you want as well....

Yeah, I know that 17 x 9.5s will fit all the way around. But I'm doing a drag car. I'll use the same backspacing as the Iroc wheels. I am just curious about the fit of different drag slicks in the back. Thanks anyway.

according to Super Chevy, it's 275/40R17 w/5.5" backspacing largest in the front, and 285/40R17 w/5.5" backspacing rear.
