kudos to spohn
Just received my Spohn Adjustable Pan hard bar with Delrin Sphere bushings. EXCELLENT PRODUCT. The construction of this is top notch. The Delrin spheres ends look as if they will preform incredibly and last a lifetime. I'm very impressed with Spohn as this is the first item i've ever purchased from them. I'm somewhat new to modding 3rd gens but not new to performance modifications on all sorts of vehicles. The way Spohn shipped the product along with overly informative instructions, business cards, stickers, receipt detailing purchase and application leads me to believe this company is extremely professional with an attention to detail. GOOD JOB SPOHN, I will now be spending a **** ton of well spent money on a lot of your products. Oh...and Delrin on all, no questions about it.
Have not installed it yet...that will happen tomorrow/this weekend along with:
Racecraft 2'' drop spindles
Ed Millers 4 Piston Wilwood FSL's With 2 piece 13X1.25'' slotted rotors stainless brake hoses etc
Converting rear drum to 12'' Disc with Aluminum PBR calipers
EBC Dimpled and Slotted Rotors w/ EBC Greenstuff pads for the rear
18X10.5 rear and 17X9.5 front z06 wheels
spohns adj panhard bar and lower control arm relocation brackets.
cut some off the rear springs to get the ride height i'm looking for (to start with, then will determine if I think a lowering spring in the rear would better suit)
10 Bolt Posi, finally getting this open diff outta here. gonna throw it far far away.
trick flow billet aluminum diff cover that supports at the bearing caps for the carrier
probably something else i'm missing but thats all i can think of at the moment

Your suspension/wheel setup is very similar to mine. When I went to install my 17x9.5 z06 wheels with the racecraft spindles, the outer tie rods came in contact with the rims. This was with 2" adapters and a brake upgrade which pushed the wheels out past the fender lip. I ended up selling the z06 wheels and am have ordered new wheels that aren't as wide for the front. Please let me know if you run into a similar problem.
Also, when you get the panhard bar installed, could you post whether or not the delrin sphere bushings make any noise when driving?

I have that Spohn delrin/poly combo PHB in the back and it doesn't make any noise, car is MUCH more predictable when driving like an idiot on the street

the delrin parts should not make any real noise. Thats the great thing with delrin, it makes a pretty solid joint with no deflection, yet has no metal to metal contact like rod ends to make or transfer a lot of noise.

I'm a bit annoyed with Spohn right now - I emailed them about buying a set of their subframe connectors. They were running a sale 'til this past Monday offering their connectors for $169 instead of $199. I wrote them a msg on Wednesday saying that I'd just now been able to get the money together and asked if they'd honor the sale price from 2 days earlier and all I got was a generic email saying:
"I'm unable to do that, sorry!"
I work for a very small company and if someone comes to us and explains what their situation is and asks for a better price, of course we will accommodate them! Its money for crying out loud; in this economy I couldn't believe they'd pass up $170 over a $30 discount.
So I'm on the hunt now for other SFCs. Got my MAC ones coming but I want another set on there too. I emailed BMR and asked if they offer any discounts and they offered me 10% off right out of the gate; I'll probably wind up going with them!
