Lateral G's? Anybody have #'s?

What's a thirdgen usually run for this figure, stock and modded?

What kinds of improvments can one expect from the normal lowering coils, aftermartket shocks/struts, STB, SFC's and 245/50-16 rain tires on lightweight wheels?

Well first off, check out my this link:

http://members.v3space.com/thirdgen/...mance_data.htm

My car is an 1989 IROC-Z convertible with the FE2 suspension option and it pulls 0.92 lateral Gs with everything stock(even the shocks are still stock with 100,000 miles on them). The only difference from stock is that I'm using 245/45VR16 BF Goodrich Comp T/A VR4. Not too bad of a tire. Also keep in mind that a thirdgen Convertible has 50/50 weight distribution.
I think with your mods listed, you could easily be in my range probably even above it without a problem.
If your car is a 86 Z28 you might want to install an IROC wonderbar to stabilize the front end.

I have an old article of a suspension build-up on a 1988 TA.

They used ST springs and sway bars, plus Tokico shocks. They used stock sized RE71's on stock wheels. The car averaged .997g's in both directions. Keep in mind that the car did not have an STB (they didn't even make them back then) and no subframe connectors. The car also ran a stock torque arm, rear control arms, and panhard rod. If you were to put all the extras on, it would probably pull 1.02-1.04g, higher with a 275-40-17 tire.

I've had 0.96Gs with stock suspension and 245 tires all round.

If there wasn't a door on the right hand side of my car my passenger would have been out in the street
