Studs on 91 disc rear end

I had a set of IROC wheels on my old 91 Z28 that had drum brakes. Last weekend I tried to put those same IROC rims on my new 91 Z28 that has disc brakes and the studs were too short. Why? I went to the parts store and bought the longest studs they had and they still weren't long enough. The lug nuts would only go about halfway onto the studs. Any ideas?

I dont know why they werent long enough. I went to Pep Boys and bought longer wheel studs and they worked fine.
