Bushings

How hard is it to replace the the front end bushings,especially the control arms.Does the car have to be off the ground,basic tools etc?

In order to replace your front end control arm bushings, you have to remove the control arm, and that means you need a spring compressor unless you choose to do it with a jack from under the control arm. Once you get them off, the bushings have to be pressed out, or in most cases beaten out (like with a chisel) but the good news is that you can press the new ones right back in. You'll need some basic tools as in ratchet and metric sockets/wrenches...
