Camber plates

Can someone tell me why you would need camber plates on your car? If I do need them where can I find a set? Thanks

Engine: 400

Transmission: Th 350

Axle/Gears: 3.27 9 bolt

they are much more solid than the soft rubber strut mounts that our cars came with and are avalible from global west for not much more money than the stock mounts
