Baer brakes installed...no difference
Well its been over a month now since I installed my Baer brakes Track system with zinc washed crossed drilled and slotted rotors. I performed the break-in procedures but I dont feel a difference in the stopping power and my brake pedal still feels kinda spongy. The stopping feels the same as if I didnt change anything at all.
What could be wrong. I blead the brakes from the farthest to the closest, the brake fluid is at its required level, and Ive doubled checked everything. Any suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks in advanced guys.

Baer front track system,
3" Flowmaster Exhaust System,

Did the kit have a new master cylinder, and if so, did you bench bleed it before putting it on? You could still have some air hiding in there somewhere.
Since you stated that they feel "kinda spongey", I would second the thought that they have not been bled properly and that there is some air somewhere in the line causing the lack of firmness in the brake pedal.
If you got them from Baer, I would presume that you have the correct components (master cylinder, proportioning valve, etc.). Along the same lines, I would suggest that you give techincal support at Baer a call since you got a new system from them. I would imagine that they have experience with all types of problems from their customers.

Well first of all its a 91 z28 with the L98 package, not the 1LE. And no the Baer brakes package did not come with a master cylinder. I will try bleeding the brakes again and then go from there. Thanks for the input guys.

So you have aluminum caliper disc rear brakes? If so I can't understand the "lack" of inprovement.
My 1LE setup will put you through the windshield. No kidding. Even after smoke rolls from the brakes. They stop even better.
Keep us informed. This is very interesting.
