Front disc brake caliper "pulsating"

When i hit the brakes, the driver side front caliper sort of pulsates. The brakes are due for work anyway but I just wanted to know what can cause this. I was thinking maybe the rotors are warped. Should I replace the calipers? If so what brand would you reccomend-Im probably just looking for a stock replacement type deal. Thanks for any help.

Unless something is loose (you'd of noticed it a long time ago...)it's the rotor. Rotors can warp in many different ways, so I'd look into that. You can usually resurface them for under 10 bucks apiece. If you're lucky you can find new rotors for that much, but I have occasionally installed new aftermarket 'cheapo' rotors and had pulsation out-of-the-box. If you go aftermarket, get good ones. Do the fronts as a pair, due to the difference of the friction surface and thicknesses of the rotors.
