Help me with my STB dilema!!!
Awhile back I installed one of the Edelbrock STB's in my 1991 GTA. Well, to make a long story short, it didn't fit. The hood just couldn't close all the way. Even if I layed the brace on the top of my intake, my hood still couldn't close completely.
Has anyone else had this problem like I did? Is my car mesed up in any way? Are their other STB that may fit?

Axle/Gears: 3.45, 3.27, 3.27
You can gain some extra clearance by putting the front mounting flange UNDER the lip on the firewall rather than on top. Then put the reinforcing plate on top. It may gain you enough clearance. Good luck, Lon.
