sounds like cv joint...
Hey everybody,
I have an issue with my front end. Of course I know we don't have front wheel drive, but the sound coming from the front of mine sounds like a bad cv joint. It only happens when I'm turning and it is on both sides, driver and passenger. I have replaced the front bearings and still have the problem. I don't really feel any kind of sloppiness in steering or under braking. It does pull a little to the passenger side during normal driving so I'm sure I need an alignment, but I don't think that is what is causing the "clicking" noise. I have noticed some tire wear on the outside edges of the tires but I don't know if that is being caused by the "clicking" or the slight alignment issue. I have 127,000 miles on her and the only thing I have ever changed on the front end is the wheel bearings.

Pull the dust cap off the front rotors and see if the cotter pin has been scraping the inside of it.
