strut tower brace question
anyone running a 3pt strut tower brace with Racecraft caster camber plates??? I picked up the edelbrock part # 5227 from summit today and it will not work with those caster camber plates. The feet that mount the brace to the strut towers run into the caster camber plates. The feet will not sit flush on the strut tower itself. let me know if you guys know of any that will work. i'd love to have a 3pt brace. (its a carbed 350 86 Iroc fyi no AC in the way to f with things) it's as if the caster is set too far negative and basically the feet aren't allowed to sit flush on the tower...the front part of the feet hang off. It looks as if i'd be able to still drill holes and squarely plant the feet but from the bolt hole forward would more or less hang off the front of the tower...cheesy

Re: strut tower brace question
should be pretty simple to modify the strut plates or the STB mounting feet to work together.

Re: strut tower brace question
yes it looks as if it will still attach. The only thing though is..the feet butt right up against the caster camber plates thus eliminating the ability to adjust either caster or camber. you will not be able to slide the plates in either direction as they will hit the feet. with modification I think I could get it to work. basically you'd have to lengthen the bar that goes from tower to tower by about an inch on either side to get the feet to mount further out towards the fenders on the strut towers...unfortunately i dont have the tools to do that. i'm sure i can pay someone though! YAY!
