Will 4th gen Springs fit on a 2nd gen? I know this isn't a 3rd gen ?, but if anyone knows, it'll help out a lot.

Does the front have coil overs like a 4th gen? is the rear setup just like a 3rd gen? The rears work on third gens so...

if you want 2nd gen springs go to www.stockcarproducts.com they lower your car about 2".. but you can choose your spring rate and are about $60 a pair...

i have a 2nd gen that i use to autocross, check out my webpage if you need any info on it..

Car: 1982 Z28
Engine: LS1
Transmission: T56
2nd gens use leaf springs in the rear, and coils up front.

4th gens use coils all around, and the front geometry is significantly different than a 2nd gen.

The fronts **MAY** fit, but the rates will be way off.

Sorry. I was stupid for a minute. Forgot about raer leafs. I wouldn't go near a 4th gen front. Get a proper one for the front. Remember the Ls1 is all aluminum and the panels are all plastic/ fiberglass. Alot lighter.
