Lowering Camaro Question

I was thinking of installing coil springs to lower my car 1 to 1 1/2 inches. Would any of my suspension components need to be replaced after the installation. Will the shocks and struts at OEM length still be sufficient.

this will add load to your suspension parts, everything should be checked or replaced. such as bearings bushings shocks/struts, and it will shorten your strut length.
i am replacing my front spindles, 2" drop and 1-1/2" in the back. i love the way the car looks now but i need it to be lower, and by using dropped spindles it keeps the stock geometry and wont add load to the suspension as will springs. and my struts will still have full lenght of throw.

that is just my idea and plans for next month.

I droped mine with 1.5 hothkis springs and busted my oil pan. I would recomend a brush plate under your motor.lol. I ran monroe shocks and struts with no problem.
