Thump thump when I hit a bump
I got a 1991 TA convertible. When I get on wavy or little bumpy roads I start getting a bump bump on the right side under the car.
Sounds like it is under the floor board, but there is nothing under the floor board.
My mechanic said everything looks tight.
The car has 68,000 miles on it. Could it be the struts going out.
Thanks.

Check your strut. You'll be able to feel it (If someone pushes up and down while your hand is on the strut). At least I could with mine (Which are also gone)...

The exhaust is tight.
Concerning the strut.
What do you feel?
Did you change them?
Need any special tools?
