Understeer NOOOO

Hey guys, i was heading down a road yesturday, going about 40, and then the road forked unexpectedly, well i needed to go left instead of straight, so i let of the gas and started to turn to the left, now this wasn't a sharp turn or anything, if i was going 30 or less it would of been fine, BUT NO, i turn my front tires start slipping and basicaly my car was stil heading straight, about 10 feet later it barley starts to turn to the left i make the turn the finally the rear of the car jumps out from under me. The whole time my foot was OFF the gas. So Do yall guys think that i need to upgrade\replace my suspension, cause i though f-body's had better handling then this. Cause this isn't the first time it has had VERY bad understeer. OR is this common?

I've never heard of any serious understeer problems with the GTA suspension. I'm guessing you either have crappy tires, or your shocks are toast.

Does your front anti-sway-bar still have both of it's end links, or is one end snapped?

A missing front bar end-link would give you oversteer. Too stiff of a front bar with a weak rear bar will give you understeer. Was the pavement clean(no gravel or anything).

The pavement was pretty clean, maybe i little dirt, i haven't checked my tire pressure latley, they are new yokohama's that i got like a month ago, they were set at i think 32PSI, but i'll check tomorrow. Im pretty sure the endlinks are fine, iv quickly looked at them, but there is a little bit of noise (kinda high pitched) in the front everytime i hit a bump. I'll check them out again tomorrow. I was thinking about changing my end link bushing to some urethane ones. anything else i should check?
how do yall guys like yokohamas?
thanks guys for u sugestions so far.
