spindle question.
I have a 92 GTA W-S6. While changing the breaks I noticed that one of the bolts/pins that hold the caliper to the spindle was extremely had to back out. when I got it out and checked and I noticed the threads were damaged. I know I could take it to a machine shop to have it repaired. What I want to know is what other stock spindles will work as a replacement,Or is this spindle year and model specific. Thaks for any help!!!

Re: spindle question.
You should be able to get another spindle fairly cheap. Just make sure there disc brakes and not a 1LE spindle, unless your car is actually using 1LE brakes. I bought a pair of 82-92 disc (non-1LE) spindles off eBay for $45 shipped.

Re: spindle question.
Supposedly the bosses (where the dust shield bolts on) are a bit beefier on the 90+ models, IIRC. Other than that, the production run is the same.
