Rear end/wheels are off center???

The wheel on the passangers side stickes out about and inch and a half farther than the wheel on the left. I know they are in set the same. They came as a set, but I did have a pretty back smack against a curb ones. Had to replace the axle, left rotor and both wheels. What else could cause this. It's very visually noticable from the rear. Looks like the whole rearend needs to be shoved over to the left 2 inches???

Sounds like a bent panhard bar.

Unless it's been lowered. Then you need an adjustable panhard rod to bring it back in line. A stock one will result in the same problem.

My car is like that also. Panhard bar disconnected and the rear end hangs free and it sits over to the passenger side. It's really noticable if you have rims that stick out too far. You may have bent parts from hitting the curb but all third gens are like that. Just some are more noticable than others.

The entire drivetrain is actually sitting towards the passenger side. Draw a line up from the center of the engine and it won't come up to the center of the hood. It's all moved over to allow room for the steering shaft. Even my big block sitting on solid motor mounts sits slightly on the passenger side.

Now since the engine is already moved over, so is the tranny. The differential pinion isn't offset very much so to line it up, the diff sits slightly to the passenger side also.

I'd check for any bent parts first. I have an adjustable panhard bar and when I tried to center the diff, everything went into compression when I tryed to force it into the center. I just left the panhard bar off, shook the car around to get everything moving free and reconnected the panhard bar. No parts are under any stress now.
