the Z28 looks like a monster truck...

just did my whole front end and after putting it all together, the new springs make the front end sit very high. someone suggested that after having it aligned it might sit better, but it actually looks worse. the pass side caster/camber seems to be a little screwed up, but i havent looked at the computer printout because i dont have it yet. anyway, i know springs settle after a while, but by how much?? this thing looks bad, it's really strange lookin over the hood cause it's so high up. btw they are stock moog springs and they are fugly. any ideas??? thanks...

Are you 100% sure you have the right springs in it, not some made for a big block swap? A friend of mine had this problem once because he tightened up his control arm bolts while the car was lifted and the wheels were hanging way down, that preloaded them when it was lowered and caused it to sit too high. Other than those ideas I don't know what would cause it. MOOG makes good parts and it don't think they would be off that much.

well i didn't tighten the lca bolts on the ground like u are supposed to (this turned out to be a horrible project which i was finishing in the pouring rain last night) so i just wanted it to be done, i was planning on re-torquing them the right way soon, maybe that will help. also i'm gonna check the listing for the springs when i get to work tomorrow just to be sure i didnt screw up, i wouldn't be happy....thanks!

Also, make sure that the springs are not resting on the body of the car instead of in the little slot that they are supposed to be in. Its easy to misposition the springs when your putting them in so you may want to check, having them in the wrong way would cause it to look like it's lifted...
