Dumb question - How is Spohn pronounced?

My girlfriend and I have been arguing over how "Spohn" is pronounced. I say it's like "spoon", and she says it's "spawn". Who is right?

I've actually been pronouncing it spohn. Like sp + ohn (as in the "O-N-E" in bone.)

I thought it was more like "John" with a SP instead of a J.

Not sure either but it sounds cooler when you tell people you have "spawn" subframe connecters rather than "spoon" subframe connecters. lol

You might get a better answer on the Spohn board.

I just called them up. It is pronounced rhyming with "bone". Check it out for yourself: 1-888-265-6064

Thanks, I was losing sleep

I've been saying the "spawn" version all this time, now I have to learn a new word and loose an old one.

consider yourself lucky that your girlfriend knows what spohn is. thats just cool anyway.
If I found a girl that was not to busy complaining about my car id let her say spohn however she wanted.
