3rd Gen upper strut mounts

Does someone build a solid/race style upper strut mount for the 3rd gen cars?

Or is the OE mount acceptable?

Here's one version (a search will turn up more):

http://www.spohn.net/shop/1982-1992-...ut-Mounts.html

For daily cruising the OE version would be acceptable.

also umi and j&m make virtually the same spherical strut mount.. i have umi adjustable caster plates and my car is lowered...... made a big difference.... if your not into handling or cornering and its just a daily driver then the stock type mounts will do fine... but if you are a corner craver then i suggest on getting the upgraded units....

Re: 3rd Gen upper strut mounts

I can vouch for the spohn ones I bought a set off a member on here. I haven't installed them yet but there a ton bigger and beefier than the OEM ones.

I'm in the process of changing my car over to a street/strip type so figured upgraded mounts would be nice since I'll be pulling apart the front end anyways for a new K-member, brakes, struts, springs... etc.

Since you're swapping in after market mounts, you might consider a STB at some point.
