Grant wheel horn button >:(

I decided to change wheels because the horn buttons in my original airbag wheel broke and were hard to replace. So I put on a Grant wheel and can't get it's horn button to work.

I know the horn works on the car because I touched the wire to the center bolt.

The adapter kit came with a metal sticker type thing, but I can't figure out where it goes,or if that's even the problem.

Who else has done this?

Thanx!

The sticker mounts in the center of the steering wheel. the horn uses the wheel as a ground to activate the relay and sound your horn. without that sticker, there is no ground, so no activation. Here is the real fun. If its a challenger series with that damned 3 prong mounting, now you have to pop the button of and try and get it to lock back on the disc. Mike

Any time, any time brother. I Had a different problem with my grant. I installed the horn and left for New York the next day. well of course, I locked the doors and rolled the windows up. I got a screaming phone call about two days later asking where my keys where. The horn button popped off, and the horn grounded itself, so the horn was blowing for two days straight(THANK YOU DURALAST BATTERIES!!) It finally killed itself that night. If you have any other questions, lemme kno
Mike

im having the same problem, but don't know how to fix it. i put the wire with the button end into the horn housing (white thing) and it doesn't work with the button. im goin to try to touch the wire that is connected to the disc to the shaft and see if the horn works.
