Tips on heating springs...

all you do is lift the car. Heat up one coil. And then lower the car toe the height that you want right? any other things I need to know? thanks... OH yea I'm not doing this to my car.

You shouldn't do it to ANY car. You're better off to cut the springs, but this will make the ride firmer. The best bet is to bite the bullet and buy a proper set of lowering springs.

88 IROC with cobbled together (not by me)drivetrain, 86 (?) TPI unit,CE subframe connectors, Edelbrock strut tower brace, polygraphite bushings all around...it handles like a dream, but man is it hard to push!!

Lowering springs aren't that expensive anymore.

Custom 3 inch single into 2 2.5 pipes. 1 1/2 drop springs, 1 5/16 solid front sway bar, 1 inch rear bar, custom subframe connectors, custom LCA relocation brackets. Kobel ground FX, current red metallic paint. Lots of other stuff...

To late I did it to my friends car already. Slammed it to the ground. Nah not that much anyways. Just dropped it like 2" the ride is still smooth to my suprize. Andt he car looks alot nicer. Oh yea and hes buy coil overs soon also so he doesnt care about his stock springs.
