WS6 vs.. What?
WS6 vs.. What?
I know the WS6 suspension in the Firebirds was great.. But is there a Camaro equivalent? (i.e., would the IROC suspension package be the same as the WS6?)

Don't forget you could also get a 1LE Firebird. And the 1LE package was a race package that didn't have just suspension upgrades. It also had aluminum driveshaft (I think), fuel tank baffles and fog lamps deleted for weight savings and better airflow to the radiator. The Iroc suspension I believe is the equivalent to the WS6. The 1LE's are very rare and comparing that suspension to the stock WS6 suspenion is like comparing apples and oranges. Just my opinion.

1LE was available on firebirds also. As stated above, it was a factory racing option. Consisted of an aluminum drive shaft, 4 wheel disc brakes, fog lamp delete, A/C delete, swinging pickup in the gas tank, dual cat exhaust, performance rear, etc. Some years came with deflected disc shocks(?), while other years had the IROC suspension. Also the 1LE has harder durometer rubber bushings. Hope this helps. I don't know how it compares to the WS6 package.

Also another thing that stock IROCs got that the WS6 Firebird's didn't was the wonderbar, which stiffens up the front a little more.
