estimated spring change time???
I just got my eibach pro kit in today and i am probably goin to be changing my springs tomorrow or thursday. I am going to be doing this with my father(works on cars alot) and uncle(mechanic). I know they know what they are doing, bu ti have never changed springs. Do we need a spring compressor or anything like that? And how long do you guys think it will take to change all 4 springs.
thanks alot

I did mine over eight hours, but I was priming/painting everything at the same time. Since you'll have help, I'd expect a lot less. The back springs should only take about 15 minutes. You'll need a compressor, and you might even have to modify it depending on the particular compressor you get. The end interferes with the upper strut mount when you try to stick the spring in.
i dropped my rear end in 30 minutes i have never done anything to suspension before i made a copy of what is in the technical articles for this site and went to work.. i however didnt get a chance to do the front end someone at discount tires stripped on of my lug nuts so the son of a B wont come off.. i didnt need a spring compressor however for the back the spring just fellout and slipped the new ones in... front is harder i suspect..

You shouldnt need a spring compressor if your Eibach's are drop springs. I installed my Hotchkis springs(1" drop) by hand without a compressor. They went right in.I rebuilt me entire front suspension with hand tools ,no compressor,in my driveway.Just make sure to use a torque wrench when re-assembling the front end.Still tight after a year of use.The backs as said before cant get any easier than stated up top.Took about 6 hours to do front end total rebuild, just take your time.Good Luck
