E brake stuck, help!!

E brake stuck, help!!

yep its been having a hard time unlocking it and pushing it down lately but finally it stuck are they any tricks of loosening it? should i just cut the wire? and if so where is this damned wire? thanks guys

yer pretty screwed. if your lucky, cutting the cable that runs underneath your car, to the axle and into the backing plates will solve your problem, but if the drums(you do have drums right?) seized, you'll be putting in a lot of time.

i figured out how to loosen the e brake what you do is take a screwdriver and pull off the plastic cover on the handle then take your screwdriver and push it on this lever thats inside the actual handle and this unlocks the handle from the gears that operate the e brake so push down on the handle and that unlocks it but i figured out my problem, the plastic piece you press on to unlock the e brake was broken so i superglued it and now it works its amazing
