Vibration from front end...

Okay, when im going down the road, I get a fairly loud vibration from the front suspension. Sometimes it does it when i make left turns, sometimes on rightturns, and sometimes when i just go straight. This causes me to think its something with the steering. It varies with speed, not rpm, so I know its not from the motor. Its like if there is wieght on a certain tire it vibrates, because when I accelerate hard, it goes away, but when I brake, it gets louder. WTF is it? Every time someone rides in my car they say "What the heck is that noise?". I get paid tomorow and I would like to fix this.

Bearings, maybe. Ever repacked them--should do it every 30000 miles or so. If they are making noise a repack won't help. Must be replaced.

I got my front end aligned at about 128,000 miles. All I wanted was a steering align which was supposed to be $55. When I went to pick my car up I had a $160 bill. They told me the 'strut to knuckle' bolts were loose and the wheels bearings were dry, so they re greased them and tightend the bolts. At first I thought okay, well I didnt ask for them to fix this, but its fixed now so its good. My steering is aligned good, but it started making a vibrating noise. I thought it was the tires, since I had driven with bad steering alignment and they had worn improperly. But the vibration has gotten worse since then. I want to know why they were even looking at me wheel bearings to align the steering. This requires thaking the discs off. They shouldnt take the discs off to align steering, right? I dont even think the wheels have to come off. My dad and I re-greased all 4 front wheel bearings when we got he car at 118,000 miles. Could they get dry this fast? Also, If my bearings are bad, should I complain to the shop or sue them or something? Can this mess up my spindles?
