1LE Brake Conversion

I am in need of some new brakes on the Formula (yes they started grindind after the autocross a couple weekends ago)
And i am a manager for an auto parts store and was looking and i can get all 1LE parts at a good price (calipers-pads-rotors) and was wondering if a needed spindles from a 1LE car or if the calipers would just bolt up to the stock ones? (1990 Formula 350)

because i do regularly autocross and race the car i would like a little better brake setup but do not really want to mess with aftermarket stuff.

You either need to get the spindles from a 1LE car or buy the caliper adapter brackets and drill and tap your spindles to bolt the caliper brackets on.

Take this 1LE link and let us know how it goes. I'd be interested in some front calipers.

Hey Dave, what kind of deal can you get for the rest of us on some calipers? I need a set also.

I'd get a set of stock spindles and modify them yourself. (see the 1LE page or do a search to find out how to do it). The 1LE spindles will cost you an arm and a leg.
