I'm sorry, but I find it hard to believe that not even the moderator of this board can tell me where to find information on third gen spring rates

It's kind of useless information now... all of these cars are over a decade old, so the springs in all of them have been shot for at least the last seven years. Shocks are as bad if not even worse; I have never in my life seen a shock or strut on a domestic car that was even detectably functional for more than 30k miles or so. Plus, the factory's choice of spring rates may or may not suit anyone's preference, and you can't buy springs that exactly duplicate the original equipment no matter what. So that info is no more than a historical curiosity, with no particular real-world application.
What is it you really want to know? Maybe you can get the answer you are looking for by changing your question.

Do a search for "spring rate chart". AndyZ28 posted one here a few months ago for me and others. If not, e-mail me at ebmiller88@aol.com and I'll shoot it to you.

Perhaps someone could post the link to the message that has the spring rate chart. I even did a search and never found one. There are a lot of messages talking about spring rates but none have a list.

Ahh. The chart isn't listed on this forum. It's on..

The list is a bit helpfull but still doesn't list the actual spring rates. Highest load rate and lowest load rate doesn't mean much when you're trying to match springs with actual axle weight.

Wow, I guess it's that time of the month for some of the moderators around here. I would also like to point out to that madmax, your sarcasm is neither appreciated, nor is it welcome. I spent about 45 minutes doing the search on the web. Don't let all the power of being a Thirdgen Moderator go to your head. Researching is more about chance than anything else. This website was created to network a group of people who have the information needed to achieve certain goals. Don't undermine the purpose of the message board by withholding information or belittling the otherwise ignorant.
