Southside Machine Kit

Was wondering if anyone has had sucess w/the kit? Am I right in thinkin that this replaces the stock torque arm and lca's? Is this kit better than say Spohn adj. torque arm and adj. lca's? Will they clear a dual-cat car? Thanks For the imput later guys Derrick

I`ve managed a best 60` of 1.46 using them. Stock control arms stay, torque arm goes.No adjustability except at installation

You must be just screaming crossing the line with 3.73's at 120 mph.

I thought you also ditched the rear lower control arms when you installed the Southside kit???

Goes thru the traps around 6200.The LCA`s stay, but they say the rear sway bar is no longer needed. I left mine off.

Oh yeah,no problem with exhaust clearance. The SSM crossmember is located at the front edge or so of the back seat. It`s way past the cats and the single pipe goes right over it, in it`s stock location. Later,Glen

Yeah but what about the subframe connectors. I know Spohn has separate connectors for dual and single cat cars. Later Derrick

The only place where it may be tight is right where the y-pipe turns toward the back of the car before the cats. You have to remove this part of the exhaust to install them anyway,so it can be "tweaked" upon re-installation. There`s plenty of room for both cats though.
